EXIT CLEAN
The exit clean is done as soon as possible after the property is vacated and before the next guests arrive.
It includes the following:
· Check for any damage (rentals) & inform owners if there is damage or not
· Check air con is off in all rooms
· Check that fridge has no perishables and bins have been emptied
· Remove bed linen, towels, bathmats for laundering
· Check dishwasher for dirty dishes
· Move outside soft furnishings indoors
Kitchen:
· Clean worktops & the face of cupboards and appliances
· Clean inside microwave and fridge
· Remove crumbs and clean outside of toaster
· Wipe hob and oven
· Clean inside and around sink, polish taps
· Sweep & mop the floor
Bedrooms:
· Remove any clutter
· Dust & vacuum floors
· Mop floors
· Replace bed linen & towels
· Dust pictures, headboards, doors & frames, bedside tables & drawers.
Bathrooms:
· Replace towels and bath mats
· Clean all baths/shower cubicles, bidets and toilets
· Clean and polish all mirrors and shower screens
· Clean and polish vanity unit tops and taps
· Replenish hand soap if required
Lounge areas:
· Vacuum & dust all surfaces including upholstery, door frames & doors, pictures & floors and mop floors
Exterior:
· General tidy up, sweep patios, terraces & paths
· Hose down patios, terraces, paths & outdoor furniture
· Polish any glass topped furniture and front door
· Lock all windows & doors, set alarm (if installed)
PRE-SEASON CLEAN
Usually the first clean of the season or you may request it after a long period without visitors when the property has been vacant. The property during this time can get a build-up of spider’s webs and layers of dust, especially outside furniture and shutters.
In preparation for the next guests, we will carry out the following:
Interior:
· All floors & surfaces will be dusted or vacuumed, including doors and frames.
· All sinks, taps & worktops cleaned and polished
· Microwave, Fridge & Dishwasher will be freshened up
· Toilets flushed and freshened
Exterior:
· General tidy up of garden, including sweeping of terraces, patios and paths
· Shutters (outsides), patios, terraces & outside furniture will be hosed down/washed
· Polish front door
SPRING/DEEP/BUILDERS CLEAN
A SPRING CLEAN is best done before you or your guests first come to stay after a long period of vacancy but is considerably more intense than the “Pre-Season” clean, detailed in Appendix 2.
A SPRING CLEAN is more or less a full day’s work for a team of three, depending on property size, please note that it MUST be planned and booked in advance, we will not do it as a last minute request. It includes:
Kitchen:
· Empty and wash any coffee/tea/sugar caddies ready for fresh supplies.
· Steam clean/wash all cupboards and drawers.
· Wash and disinfect worktops, hob, sinks, taps and polish them.
· Clean Microwave, fridge, toaster.
· Polish any chrome ware: kettle, toaster.
· Wipe the front of electrical appliances.
· Vacuum all floors.
· Steam clean all floor tiles
· Steam clean all wall tiles & splashback.
· Dust / polish light fittings, ceiling fan blades and air-con units.
Bedrooms:
· Change bed linen if appropriate
· Vacuum floors including underneath all moveable furniture
· Dust and polish surfaces including doors & frames, pictures, headboards, beside tables & drawers, front side & tops of wardrobes, light fittings, ceiling fan blades and air-con units.
· Steam clean floors
Bathrooms:
· Change towels & bath mats if appropriate.
· Clean sinks, baths, shower cubicles, toilets, bidets, radiators, towel rails and paper holders.
· Clean & polish all mirrors and shower screens, vanity units & taps.
· Clean soap dispenser and replenish if required.
· Dust / polish light fittings, ceiling fan blades, doors & frames.
· Steam clean all floor and wall tiles.
Lounge areas:
· Vacuum all floors including underneath all moveable furniture
· Vacuum upholstery
· Dust and polish all doors & frames, pictures, tables
· Steam clean floors
· Dust / polish light fittings, ceiling fan blades and air-con units.
Outside:
· Clean all accessible window (inside & out) & wash shutters
· Patios and terraces will be brushed and either mopped or hosed down as appropriate.
· Outdoor furniture washed
· Glass table tops polished
· Front door polished
General:
